Help us celebrate our 50th annual quilt show, coming up in 2022!
1972...it was the 70s…& it was groovy! Let your creativity loose and show us in your block design in this years’ Quilt Block Contest.
For this year’s quilt, you must incorporate some of the fabric that the museum will provide (gold for our 50th), and follow the theme “Fab@Fifty.” Use the provided fabric with other quilting fabrics of your choice (novelty prints OK) as long as they are pre-washed 100% cotton. If you use white in the background, use true white or white-on-white, not cream or ivory.
Size: 12½˝ x 12½˝ to finish as a 12˝ x 12˝ block. Do not set blocks on point.
· Block may be pieced and/or appliquéd but appliqué must be trimmed on back.
· Please, no fusing or gluing of fabrics, and do not embellish with buttons, ribbons, lace, or doilies– too difficult to hand quilt.
· Limit of two block entries per quilter.
