How to establish depth.
Fee: $25 / Person
Description: Quilting is inherently complex. There is the pattern that has been selected, of course, and there is also the colorway you select. The colorway is subject to many variables. One of the most important considerations in colorway determination is Value, or the lightness to darkness of a color. Tint, tone, and shade of a color along with available light and optic mixing all come into play in the final results, giving a huge amount of things to consider. This class will help you understand how tint, tone, and shade modify colors as well as how lighting and optic blending affect the final results of your quilt.Goals of this Class: In this class, you will learn:
What is Value
What are Tine, Tone, and Shade
Why and how to create a Tint, Tone, and Shade
