Enjoy a rare opportunity to step back in time with a visit to the Stauffer-Will Farm. This hands-on, living history event is fun for (almost) all ages.
Please understand that due to the nature of this event, we are unable to accommodate children under 5 years old.
Minors must be accompanied by an adult.
Please note that the site involves stairs and unpaved pathways in history ca. 1870s buildings. Please call the museum at 503-678-5754 or email info@auroracolony.org with questions before purchasing tickets if you have mobility and accommodation questions.
Learn about life on an 1870s farm and create projects to take home as souvenirs.
Guests Will:
Craft their own log candle holder
Dip a candle
Try your hand at using period tools
Bake bread
Learn about quilting and make a block worksheet
The guided portion of the event will run from 10:00am - 12:30/1:00. Following the event, guests are welcome to picnic (bring your own) on the Stauffer-Will lawn. Site closes at 2pm. Note you may also be interested in enjoying the best that Aurora has to offer with a visit to one of the local lunch spots or enjoy the Grand Opening of the Aurora Mill Salvage Annex and their guest food carts.
Tickets: $15/person
Tickets must be purchased in advance. This ticketed event is limited seating. Tickets are non-refundable. Should the event be cancelled tickets will be refunded.
