*The Cellar stories extended visit adds 25min to your visit* and will push it closer to 1:45pm.
When you arrive, bus parking is in the turnaround driveway in front of the barn. Please plan to arrive no later than 9:45am. The program begins promptly at 10:00 AM and runs 3hrs, including a 30-min lunch break. This allows for students to be loaded onto the bus, ready for a 1:15 PM departure (unless choosing the Cellar Stories extended visit*). If, for any reason, you need to adjust these times, please contact the museum. Additional instructions for contacting museum staff for day-of assistance with directions or delays in arrival time will be provided.
All payments will be made out to the Aurora Colony Historical Society.
Your $100 non-refundable deposit is due 30 days from booking to secure your field trip. Program must be paid in full 14-days before field trip dates, or the date will be invalidated, and you will have to reschedule. Changes may be made to reservations until the field trip is paid, then it is set. Additional persons must be booked 3-days before your field trip.
Field trip tickets are non-refundable.
The museum reserves the right to amend or cancel programs in case of misbehavior, failure to follow rules, or for any other reason. Students who are exhibiting repeated negligence to volunteer instruction may be removed from an activity station at the discretion of Stauffer-Will Farm Volunteers and/or staff.
Students under 8 may not attend this program. The Stauffer-Will Program activities are not suitable for students under the age of 8 due to the tools and equipment used for them. We appreciate your understanding, and look forward to them attending when they are able to safely participate in the activities. If you have any questions, please contact farm@auroracolony.org or call the museum at 503.678.5754.
Unannounced additional, day-of attendees will be subject to availability, and will incur additional, public rates and may be unable to participate.
Attendants must ensure a minimum of 2 chaperones per group of students for each station. Student to chaperone/teacher numbers must remain within a 12 students to 1 chaperone/teachers ratio. A chaperone should accompany a student at all times to ensure that no Stauffer-Will Farm staff is left as the only supervising adult.
